Growing up, the internet was cool. Now? Okay, yeah, it's still cool. We're running businesses on this thing, and no, mom and dad, no sketchy emails from Nigerian Princes were involved in the making of this entrepreneurial journey.
Just a lot of hard work, sleepless "is it 3am already?"s, and constantly asking if we're doing the right thing (and knowing we're not going to get an answer until we actually Do The Thing and see what happens).
And we do it because we love it.

Honesty hour: why am I offering services that support creative online entrepreneurs? Instead of being the creative online entrepreneur myself?

My brain needs a break. I have another blog where I'm taking risks and being experimental and trying things and writing things and for the most part guessing (because that's business, no?) ... and I'm overwhelmed. And if you're reading this, then I know you feel me.
I'm offering you what I know I can do, and do well, because I don't want to waste your time or mine. Both our incomes are on the line; there's no point in me saying I can do everything ... if I can't. We'll just both be frustrated. The goal is that we're both energized and excited!

ABOUT ME
1. I don't have enough decent head shots because I'm super camera-shy. Here's one from the time I wasn't. Aaaand that's it. I'm out of pictures.
2. Two-second résumé: I graduated with a degree in Psychology (and loved it!), worked in digital advertising, was in law school for a year ('til I realized... nope), and do communications and engagement for a nonprofit. Now I'm online.
3. I love figuring out how things work. Though I took up Psych, my second choice was a degree in Physics. “Why psych and physics? They’re so different,” someone asked me. But it really was just a toss-up between how the mind works or how the physical world works! Now I'm doing business which is a nonstop figuring out of making things work.
4. I run another blog called Stesha on raising my son, and the lessons I'm learning from my 6-year-old. When I grow up, I want to be as funny and smart as he is.
5. I wrote a book last year called "I Love You." "I Love Chicken Nuggets!" & Other Tales of Motherhood; title taken from a real-life conversation I had with my son. I call it #ChickenNuggetProject for short, because I can't very well call it "ILY""ILCN"&OToM in everyday conversation.
6. I've been featured in Rappler, The Philippine Daily Inquirer, and Young Star of the Philippine Star. I'm trying to act cool about it but sometimes I'm still like whaaaat.
7. I have a huge crush on Daveed Diggs. Please don't tell him. On second thought, if you can, please do. I can also rap (I mean, if you want to pass that information along), and I'm totally up for a duet.
8. I have 5 cats at home. We couldn't stop rescuing them until, okay, hold up, wait, stop, we have 5 cats.
9. Home is the Philippines. It's... something. Especially now. But it's home. That means I'm at GMT+8, but my body clock is weird -- I'd rather stay up 'til 5am than wake up at 5am -- so no matter!
10. I believe that humor is underrated and the world could use a few more laughs. I hope what I put out in this world, this included, contributes a bit.
